  It is busy at this fish and chip shop, that in itself is a VERY good sign.
  
  The cooked fish in the display cabinet looked like cod pieces, ANOTHER good sign.
  
  My first visit to the Golden Fillet was on Saturday, the 17th December 2016. I watched this bald headed fish fryer, who I shall describe as a MAESTRO ‘manage’ the overall operation!
  
  I ordered LARGE cod and medium chips and didn’t mind the wait, even when a lady ordered the same LARGE cod and chips and eventually got served before me. It didn’t matter, because the warmth of the shop as I sat there and the banter goings on with the customers was well worth the extra waiting time. I enjoyed being in this fish and chip shop, which was so friendly.
  
  This is undoubtedly a FANTASTIC fish and chip shop. The LARGE cod and medium chips was DELICIOUS.
